Our boat trip this morning had a bit of calamity. Our captain hit a submerged log, stopping the boat suddenly and throwing Mrs. IM and me to the deck. I was ok, but Mrs. IM was pretty banged up. She wrenched her neck pretty badly. She stayed home this afternoon and iced it, but if it isn’t better a trip to the emergency room may get added to the schedule. Cross your fingers for her. You may not like me much, but she is a really nice person.

I hope your wife is ok. Perhaps a visit to the chiropractor would be cheaper and more productive . Injuries and sickness on vacation suck.

I love jetties, we go crabbing here in TX on them.
Hopefully she is okay. find a urgent care center first. ERs are COVID hotspots. most people don’t realize most urgent centers have xray and a few have MRIs. We got popped by a wave in a rogue storm one day deep sea fishing and sent everyone to the deck as we were racing back to port.
it was worse than any wreck I have been in. they say water is like cement... YUP!

Hopefully she is ok. Even if she feels fine in the morning she may want to make an appointment with her regular doc to get checked out. Neck/back injuries have a tendency to become nagging since it’s so hard to rest those to let them heal.

I hope you wife is okay. Until she gets it checked out, no sudden movements or stretching the neck.
Best to get checked out sooner rather than later just in case.

Ah, Bandon.
My father is from there. No, not Bandon, USA. Bandon .
Wonder is one called after the other?
(Google, Google)
Indeed it is. Also, the story of those who lived in the area
before the American B
andon was established is not an uplifting one.
